Famous American actor Giancarlo Esposito has converted to Islam while filming a new project in Saudi Arabia.
The chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, said that the famous Breaking Bad actor formally converted to Islam after spending some time in Saudi Arabia and working with Muslim colleagues during production.
Turki Al-Sheikh said that Giancarlo Esposito confessed to entering the Muslim faith by reciting the Kalima Shahadah and later prayed in the mosque with his production team.
In a video shared on social media, the famous American actor can be seen praying with his production team, which is receiving a lot of attention on social media.
Turki Al-Sheikh said that Giancarlo Esposito’s decision is the result of his positive personal experience in Saudi Arabia, where he greatly appreciated the hospitality, sense of mutual solidarity and warmth of the people while working on this project.
